For two years, ABBA Y AMIGO has been creating something deeply meaningful—the Prayer PhotoQuilt. What began as a personal project woven from our founder's own photo album evolved into something far more beautiful when Mama Mary's inspiration struck: why not invite our entire community to be part of this vision?
We reached out to friends, family, and loved ones across the globe with a simple, heartfelt invitation: send us a drawing or photo of a flower and a pollinator. Whether it's a butterfly, hummingbird, moth, bat, bee, beetle, fly, sunbird, honeycreeper, lemur, colugo, or lizard—we wanted to celebrate the connections that sustain life and beauty in our world.
The response has been humbling.
While we're still weaving together all of the beautiful experiences that have come our way, we're grateful beyond words for the abundance of love and creativity we're bringing to life. Each contribution—each photo, each drawing—tells a story of sincere connection to nature and one another. In other words, human and non-human relatives alike.
